Health is a fundamental human right. Health equity is achieved when everyone can attain their full potential for health and well-being."
Why focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)? Because healthcare providers are better able to serve their communities when they better understand the needs of those communities, and because a more diverse workforce can provide those communities with better healthcare overall.
