Mary Guhwe, DNP, FNP-BC, SCRN
Mary Guhwe graduated from Duke University School of Nursing from their accelerated BSN program in 2006, then with her MSN in 2010 and her DNP in 2015. She has a diverse clinical background including Primary Care, Home Health, outpatient substance abuse treatment, International medical missions and Neurology. Current clinical practice includes care of stroke patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to her clinical role, Mary is the Team Lead for the stroke APPs at Duke Hospital, she is a Provider Liaison (non MD medical Director) for one of the Neuroscience Stepdown Units, Clinical Preceptor for NP and PA students and has been an invited speaker for multiple educational conferences.
