The South Piedmont AHEC Library is located in the Medical Education Building (MEB) on the Atrium Health CMC Main Hospital campus. We are open 24/7 with Atrium Health/CCHS badge access.

You can access the other floors using the elevators. Study rooms and the upstairs conference room are available on the 2nd floor. For information on reserving the second floor conference room, email charlotteaheclibrary@charlotteahec.org.
The second floor has both individual study rooms and a conference room. The individual rooms are first come, first served. The conference room is reservable.
You can make a reservation for the 2nd floor conference room through Microsoft Outlook.
The individual study rooms are usually first-come, first-served. However, the rooms are occasionally unavailable because they have been blocked off for testing.
The study rooms are also open 24-7, but remember to keep your badge with you at all times.

The library has multi-purpose areas throughout the first floor. Catch up on news, reading, or just have a quiet lunch. We don't mind if you eat in the library, but please clean up after yourself.
You can access the second floor study areas from inside the library, but you will need a badge to access. Make sure you have your badge with you at all times.

Right in front of the computer lab is a another good spot for small group collaboration, study... or just hiding away!
You can reserve the computer lab through Microsoft Office. If the room isn't being used for a class or workshop, feel free to use any of the computers inside.
The computer lab also has a podium, monitor, and whiteboard for instruction or collaborative use.
Plug your devices into the collaboration booths, or simply use the comfortable seating to study, chat quietly, or collaborate on a project.

The first floor also has computers available for Atrium employees, residents, or students.
The first floor computers boast dual screens. You will need an Atrium Health login and password to use these computers.
Take advantage of the hidden corner of the library that is surrounded by windows. A great place to hide away if you need some sun, or an out-of-the-way place for group projects.
