Qualitative Research

At the end of this independent learning module, participants will:

  • Be able to clarify the difference between qualitative and quantitative research, and describe the implications and uses for both.

  • Be familiar with how qualitative research is conducted, analyzed, and presented in manuscripts. 

  • Understand if professional articles you read are using qualitative techniques or not.
